How do I add a colour block behind one piece of text on the homepage?

Hi, 

I am trying to create this effect but can't work out how to add the grey colour behind this text? This is a jpeg that I have inserted as a photo, which pixelates slightly so ideally I would like to do it properly!

Hi, I'm not 100% sure I have read you correctly but do you mean change the background color of that block?

Hi. You can use Poster Block to achieve this. Or add a Text Block, then use this CSS (Design > Custom CSS)

#text-block-id {background: gray;}

Use this tool to find text block id.
