Button link not working in header in Novo template

Hello! I am wrapping up designing my website but I am having trouble with the button I added in the header. I want it to say RESUME and when a person clicks on it, I want a separate window come up with a PDF of my resume. 

When editing my header, I toggled on the button in the "elements" section of the dialog box. When I clicked on the gear and the additional dialog box came up, in the "file" section I uploaded a PDF of my resume.

However, it doesn't work- when I click on the RESUME button I've created, it just takes me to my work page. Is there a glitch that I don't know about or something I'm doing wrong?

I'm having a similar issue where the link won't "stick." I've followed the above prompts (and many others on the squarespace forums) exactly. I'm really just trying to create an unlinked page to share a PDF of my resume with an application. The check mark next to the PDF is there, and the link appears, yet when I save, it disappears. See attached images. Alibibbo.com/resume is the page, and the PDF is below size limits.

You need to click Apply then Save page
