Transferring a domain from an existing Squarespace user

Hi! I would like to change my website from adriennesack.squarespace.com to adriennesack.com. I have spoken to the owner of this domain who is another squarespace user (we have been friends for many years because we have the same name). She says I can have the domain since she doesn't use it, but she has no idea how to transfer it. Is there a way to transfer it within Squarespace without causing her too much hassle?

You could add her as a contributor to your site and from there she can just transfer the domain to your site and then you can remove her access to your site once you are done.
