How to change 'add to cart' button to go to an external website...

Recommended Posts

Site URL: https://www.heartoflivingyoga.com/shop/sutra-practice-cards

Hello!

I'm doing some admin work for a friends website and they have request that for just one of their products in the shop, they would like the 'add to cart' button to be customised so it takes anyone who clicks on it to an external site where the the customer can then complete the purchase through the external site.

I can't see any simple options for doing this and imagine I have to edit some code, which I'm not confident at doing.

Could someone please help me by providing an easy to understand guide for this please?

The url that I would like the custom button to be linked to is this:-

https://lumierephotography.zenfolio.com/shop/product?categoryId=custom&vendorId=user319197549&productId=prod636239&ecommerceList=6&token=eG-ZizwlNUOxkqRT4FzkCQ~~

Thank you in advance to any kind souls that are willing to help me.

Kindest regards,

Nate

Hey Tuan,

I actually figure it out.  It was a text link in the description area of the product information.  So I essentially typed some text, highlighted it and used the visual editor to add the link to it.

That being said I would like to button look (colors, padding, font weight, etc.) to be the same as all of the other buttons on the site.  Is there a way to simply "inherit" the Squarespace style guide for buttons so it remains consistent with the rest of the site?
