Blog Article Comments Broken

Recommended Posts

Site URL: https://www.sailingtotem.com/blog

About three weeks ago my client's site stopped accepting comments on blog posts. Prior to that, people could comment freely. Nothing has changed on the back end. Now, when people try to comment, they are met with an error that says:

/api/comment/CreateComment?crumb=BbdsH7Awe7SbY2NiMzFlNDdhM2JhYmE5N2U2MTEzN2Q4OTg4YTQ1  (JSON)
Authorization Denied: You do not have enough permissions

Comments are critical in this community and SS is not providing any guidance. Does anyone have an idea on what needs to happen?

I am experiencing the same problem: https://www.firstexperienceproject.com/experiences/

Like realriver42 mentioned, scroll up to the top to see the error.

Also, no problem if anonymous comments are allowed.

It looks fine here. Have you solved this yet?

Also I see button text is not align vertical. You can add margin-top: -10px;

.comment-btn:after {
    content: "Add Your Experience";
    text-indent: 0;
    display: block;
    line-height: initial;
    margin-top: -10px;

I'm having the same problem.  The ability to comment is critical to my website, without it the whole thing is pointless.  At first I saw a white screen.  Then I realized that if I scrolled up I can see this

/api/comment/CreateComment?crumb=BbyoifSjFq%2BINzExN2I1OWVkNTI1OTA3Zjk5MTZkYTYxMGY4MTZl  (JSON)
