realriver42
Site URL: https://www.sailingtotem.com/blog About three weeks ago my client's site stopped accepting comments on blog posts. Prior to that, people could comment freely. Nothing has changed on the back end. Now, when people try to comment, they are met with an error that says: /api/comment/CreateComment?crumb=BbdsH7Awe7SbY2NiMzFlNDdhM2JhYmE5N2U2MTEzN2Q4OTg4YTQ1 (JSON) Authorization Denied: You do not have enough permissions Comments are critical in this community and SS is not providing any guidance. Does anyone have an idea on what needs to happen? Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
I will check it out. I didn't get an error, but I did get a white screen after logging in and submitting my comments. . I was expecting a pop up to say your commerts are awaiting moderation. Looks like a code problem. Something is keeping the commets log on screen from coming up. aruther1
I am experiencing the same problem: https://www.firstexperienceproject.com/experiences/ Like realriver42 mentioned, scroll up to the top to see the error. Also, no problem if anonymous comments are allowed. Link to comment

You can add margin-top: -10px; .comment-btn:after { content: "Add Your Experience"; text-indent: 0; display: block; line-height: initial; margin-top: -10px; } Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.). AnnWFoxPoint
I'm having the same problem. The ability to comment is critical to my website, without it the whole thing is pointless. At first I saw a white screen. Then I realized that if I scrolled up I can see this /api/comment/CreateComment?crumb=BbyoifSjFq%2BINzExN2I1OWVkNTI1OTA3Zjk5MTZkYTYxMGY4MTZl (JSON) Authorization Denied: You do not have enough permissions Link to comment
AnnWFoxPoint
This error does NOT occur when I allow for anonymous comments. But now I am getting an error when I try to flag comments. Sigh Edited July 10, 2021 by AnnWFoxPoint Additional information Link to comment
