How can I hide the price of the products on the main store page?

I'm trying to have the price of the products not shown on the main store page.  Is there a way to do this?

I am offering deposits on my products and the only way I have figured out how to do that is to have the price of the product at the deposit price, then when it's time to make the final payment, I create another item that's on a non-linked page for the remainder of the balance.  However, when you look at my main store page it displays the "deposit" price instead of the actual price.  I think it would cause much less confusion if I could just hide all product prices for the main store page.
