Adding a category/tag filter to an index page of projects

Hi all,

My client works in three sectors - residential, commercial and industrial. I've got an index page set up with all of his projects. However it would be great at the top of that index page to be able to filter between All or the three sectors but I can't see any way to do this. Not sure if it's categories, tags or something else, but still don't really see how to get a filter there.

Any ideas for how I can do this?

Have you explored if a Blog Page would work for this? A blog will not be the same layout that you have now by default. It may be possible to tweak a blog to get closer to your current style for our work.

The main thing with a blog is that you can use categories and/or tags which would then, fairly easily, allow you to have your All plus 3 (any number really) sectors.
