Switching from a physical product in the ecommerce store! Help!

Hi all- I'm brand new to Squarespace and I'm trying to set up my online store for more of a service- selling dinners so it's not really a physical product that needs shipping because people will come pick it up. How do I change it to a service?

The only way is to create a new product item making sure to select the service product type when you create it.

It would be really grand if SS made this a simple choice in the product editor. But currently it is not an option.

In the mean time when this situation happens. I use two windows/tabs side by side to copy the info from the "bad" physical product to the new service product.
