Navigation Bar Custom CSS

I need to align the navigation bar to be on the same line as the logo, but instead of float left and right to the edges of the screen, I need it to be a fixed position next to the logo. I have tried the spacing on the menu items but that messes things up with different screen sizes. If anyone could help me with this, that would be great!

i tried to load the site to see if i can suggest some code but it doesn't ask me for a password, just says i dont have permission to see the site. i dont' know enough about squarespace to know what that means.
