Scotjs
Customizing styles and allowing for ajax loading, which often makes a huge different with image laden pages, along with other helpful functionalities, has now been removed in version 7.1. Uhhh WHY??!! It makes absolutely no sense to take away tools that help the performance of web pages, particularly since there is a trend toward making pages more graphical. Now I need to re-build my site all over again because Squarespace didn't give a heads up by letting developers know 7.1 is horrifically limited when compared to 7.0. Last I checked, progress moves forward and not backwards right? Edited March 15, 2021 by Scotjs Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
7.1 is almost Brine 2.0, same template look (minus parallax scrolling) but entirely different configuration. Style tweaks, fonts, colors, a bit more organized, in one spot, some other editing functions located in a bit unusual spot for us 7.0 users. It is designed for a very different type of builder. It is a good one template family, especially for first time builders, but I still prefer 7.0 for myself. Link to comment
