Sort Performer Bios By Last Name

Recommended Posts

Squarespace newbie here and I'm hoping someone can help me with a solution.  I'm working on a website for a show I put on, and we have many many performer bios.  I've created a blog post for each performer.  The performer's full name is the blog post title.  On the actual blog listing page, I'd like those blog entries listed alphabetically by last name (screenshot attached of current state).

For each performer bio (blog post), I've created a tag that's just their last name - I was hoping there would be a way I could display the performers alphabetically based on those tags, but I'm having trouble figuring out how.

I've been looking at "Lazy Summaries" but I don't believe there's a trial version so I'm hesitant to drop money on the plugin unless I'm sure it's what I need.  Is there a plugin that can sort these the way I need or do I need a bespoke solution?  Any advice would be much appreciated.

Here's a screenshot of the page as it is now: (the site has not been published yet so I apologize that I can't share the URL)

@tuanphan I am trying to do the same thing. I have the UniFilter and Lazy Summaries. We would like to give the projects tags so that they appear in a certain order - without having to change the blog dates each time. Michael (the developer) said there is a way to write a script to do it, but I have not figured it out yet.

The filter itself can be alphabetized, and projects can be sorted by title, but I need to sort by a specific tag, so that the 9 projects I pick can always appear at the top regardless of what date they were published.
