Five: How can I add a button to the top navigation bar?

Hello, thanks for sharing these codes. Is there a way I can make this button in my nav bar open to a new tab when clicked? My last item in my navigation menu is a link to different site and right now I cant tell it to open to a new page.

Thanks for this, @atpluke. I've been able to implement on my Five template site, but unfortunately, it's also affecting the dropdown menus, as well.

Non-coder here... is there some kind of script I can place to make the "button" only show on the main nav and not the dropdown?

Thanks so much for this.. my only problem is that it makes the drop down menu words into a button too! Any idea how I could change this?
