Need Recs For Author/Writer Page Layout

Hello!

I'm not sure if "bloging" is the layout I am envisioning, but as upcoming author, I need something super simple. I'm aiming to make a site like this one - https://www.veschwab.com/

Simple to look at and simple to navigate. Don't need to make photos, but uploading short stories to share would be neat.

Any suggestions as to which template I should use?
