TashaB166
Site URL: http://www.tashabraniffphotography.com I run 3 small businesses, I'm looking to re build my site and have it branch out into the 3. I want the first landing page to have 3 blocks (3 photos) with text over the image, or under it, then you click the block and it takes you to a sub page. (Photography, would take you into a gallery. Real Estate would link to an extra site most likely, etc). Is there a template that can be laid out like this? I'm having a hard time finding one! Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
Most of them can actually. The demos may not be set up that way but what you want is pretty standard stuff. 7.0 has built in landing pages but they are a bit constricted to the design. I think when you say landing you are just wanting a home page with three images. As I said a number of templates with static images, not a long scrolling site will do this. An index page with a wall or grid layout will work also. I will provide you with a link to demos and sites know will do this. Two that I have built will do it just fine some have a singel image page first but you don't have to do that. yourself; my random views (built using Avenue) Christine Gregory Photography (built using wexley) https://wells-demo.squarespace.com https://avenue-demo.squarespace.com/ https://wexley-demo.squarespace.com/ Here is a very straight forward one with three image click thrus to other pages or blog posts: https://five-demo.squarespace.com/ Any of the above can be scaled down to three images, with descriptions and the images can be various sizes. Now if you want to go a bit more creative, how about three full screen images? Each taking you to a different page? Can't imaging something like that? Take a look at this demo: https://tremont-demo.squarespace.com/ Edited March 1, 2021 by derricksrandomviews Link to comment
