asdf1234
Site URL: http://www.elliothigger.com Hey everyone! I'm trying to add audio that plays automatically over images on a site. The idea is that as an image comes on to the screen, audio would start to play (no hitting a button needed, and no button would even be visible to hit). The audio would continue to play for the duration that a user maintains the image on the screen. As they move to the next image, a new audio clip would fade in (a fade would need to be added as well). Any ideas on how to achieve this? PS - I'll be building a new site for this project from scratch. It said I had to submit a site to ask this question so I used that one. I apologize if that's confusing in any way. Thanks! asdf1234
Thanks derricksrandomviews! This doesn't answer my question I think, but is interesting to read about. It looks like the thread addresses adding sound over an entire site without hitting a play button -- and what I am trying to do is to add sound (yes, playing over a whole site) -- but correlating to an image on the screen, where 1 image, or 'sound zone,' will appear on the screen at a time, and a fade will transition as they scroll throughout the site to different audio zones. Hopefully that explanation makes enough sense. I appreciate you thinking to share this though! This is a much more complicated example of what I am trying to achieve: http://hollowdocumentary.com/ Link to comment
