Hiding content on index gallery photos

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I use the Margot template (Brine family). My home page is an index gallery and I use the Title and Description input on every photo for links inside my website.

This cause another gallery to behave the same. I'm looking for a way to prevent one particuliar gallery to show this content. Basically, I just want the photos, but I do not want to strip each and everyone of their content, just to not show it.

Is it possible with CSS, any idea ? I had a way of doing this for lightbox overlay on another version of the site, but can't get my head around how to do this for an index gallery page.

Thanks a bunch, I appreciate!

Hi! no, I just made a cover page so nobody would see what I was doing.

I can disable it if you're willing to have a look.

Basically my homepage is an Index gallery set to slideshow and each photo has Title and Description.

And I have another Index gallery (galerie) that I want to have a packed layout without Title and Description showing.

I don't know how to do this or if it would be better to change my other gallery to a block and force it to a masonry (packed) layout, even if Margot template does not allow it.

Just tell me if you're willing to have a look and I will change my homepage so you can access my site.

Thank you very much!!! I appreciate it.

Hi!
Sorry for being so late.
I've changed template, but it's the same family so What I want to fin remains the same.
On https://olneyphoto.com/galerie, it shows the index gallery page as "packed".
On my homepage, the index gallery has obviously the same layout, but I would like to have it as a "slideshow".

Any help would be appreciated.

PS: I already use CSS style for hiding overlays of the lightbox in my blog with the below code:
.yui3-lightbox2 .sqs-lightbox-meta { display: none; }
.yui3-lightbox2 .sqs-lightbox-meta { color: transparent !important; }

Thank you!
