Guest Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 Site URL: https://www.rookspress.com/featured Hi, is it possible to exclude sold out items from summary blocks on the Wells template? Ideally I would like them to be excluded completely, i.e. no blank spaces. The blocks are on the following page: https://www.rookspress.com/featured Thanks, Oz

Guest Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 Hi Tuanphan, not yet. The theme doesn't seem to have an ID for sold-out product blocks, so I think that means I'd have to use jquery which is outside of my expertise.
paul2009 Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 It is possible to do this using JavaScript. The template won't actually make any difference in this case because Summary Blocks are the same on all templates. If a product is sold-out, the Summary Block item will display a product mark with the sold-out class, so it's possible to identify and remove the summary-items that have children with this class. Bear in mind that this may result in fewer items being displayed in the summary block, as shown in your Mothership collection: Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. Guest Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 Thanks Paul, I was worried about the blanks, I presume that getting it to 'skip over' blanks is not going to be possible as it would require changing the way the product summaries are programmed? If so I'll probably just live with the sold out elements being visible, and use it as incentive to restock!
