How can I make my line longer so it fits across the entire page?

I tried this in Design / Custom CSS but I couldn't get it to work - did I put this in the wrong place?

  1. I'd like both to span across full screen
  2. both lines to be closer together
  3. the bottom line thicker than the top

Hi. You can add lines in seperate section, then we can target it easier.
