tommiatke
Site URL: https://tangerine-crane-czyb.squarespace.com/ Hi there, Is there any way to specify and change individual folders and their styling components? Im grouping the nav links of my site into 2 folders, in Folder 1 I'd like to have a White Background, and on Folder 2, Id like a Dark Blue Background (with white links). How do you target a specific folder in CSS is probably my main question. Ive been following @inside_the_square in order to change properties overall, but I'd like to now go in and work on each folder to change these main elements. Hoping this is possible! dvgdvgdvg
Looks like you already solved it? (I see two drop-downs with the color treatments you described.) However if you hover over the first drop-down and then the second, the first is still active so the second is hidden; you may already be on it but figured I'd flag. Link to comment
tommiatke
Hey there @dvgdvgdvg, Ive kind of solved it, I ended up buying a plugin from Will Myers that created a Mega Menu. (The colour of the Menu for each folder is constrained by the section colour, hard to explain!) If I could extend the question a bit further (which is still relevant to this), Id like to be able to have the header colour change to the section its on. Eg: Header stay white when hovering on Coastal Marine, and header change to the blue when hovering over Coastal Sails (and to really push the friendship, Id really love the logo to change when hovering over Coastal Sails too....) . Currently it turns blue when hovering over both links as I cant specify which folder/link.... if that makes sense. Thanks! Edited February 11, 2021 by tommiatke Link to comment

On these points: Id like to be able to hover over 'Coastal Marine...' and the Header + Drop Down REMAIN white When I hover over the 'Coastal Sails...' to allow the header + dropdown to be Blue (with the main nav link to perhaps change to white so it can be read). The Logo to change when I hover over 'Coastal Sails...' to an alternate logo. Please let me know if this is possible! And thank you so much for your help Thanks, Tom Link to comment
