DavidCharles
SLL does not seem to be active on a website I manage. The domain is registered with 1&1 Ionos - and they appear to charge for SSL. Question is, should Squarespace's SSL override this, or does the client have to purchase the SSL "bolt on" from 1&1? Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
What is the domain? I have had this issue with Ionos before. The SSL took a while to propagate after I pointed the domain to Squarespace. Link to comment

The SSL service is completely independent of your domain provider's offerings. When your domain's DNS settings (A, CNAME and so on) have taken effect (it can take 10 minutes to 72 hours) then you should be able to enable SSL within Squarespace. If it's not working, get in touch with Squarespace Customer Care as they can logon to your site to troubleshoot. Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017. DavidCharles
OK thanks both. I reconnected the domain yesterday so I'll give it a few days to propagate and see what happens. 👍🏼 Link to comment
