I have done some research using GA Debugger that Squarespace does not send hit to GA when subscribing to a product, but sends a for regular purchase. I have replaced some values here: This is set in regular purchase: VM1029 analytics.js:25 Running command: ga("ecommerce:addTransaction", {id: "example", revenue: "100.00", shipping: "0.00", tax: "0.00"}) VM1029 analytics.js:25 Running command: ga("ecommerce:addItem", {id: "example", name: "Example", sku: "EX-123", price: "100.00", quantity: 1}) VM1029 analytics.js:25 Running command: ga("ecommerce:send") Only this seems to be happening on subscription: VM827 analytics.js:25 Running command: ga("require", "ecommerce") VM827 analytics.js:25 Waiting on require of "ecommerce" to be fulfilled. VM827 analytics.js:25 Registered new plugin: ga(provide, "render", Function) VM827 analytics.js:25 Running command: ga("require", "ecommerce") VM827 analytics.js:25 Waiting on require of "ecommerce" to be fulfilled. VM827 analytics.js:25 Executing Google Analytics commands. TomasAH Posted February 11, 2021 Share Posted February 11, 2021 I'm also having trouble with this. In addition to subscriptions it seems that regular purchases by registered customers will not send to GA... Unfortunaltely I can't seem to find any sensible workaround for this. And as my customer is mainly selling products by subscription, not being able to track sales outside of SS analytics is a challenge that might lead to leaving the platform.. Boffix 1 Link to comment
