Add borders to individual images on Gallery Grid: Simple

Recommended Posts

Site URL: https://www.hanroco.com/art-direction

i added a 2px black border to all of the images on my site (https://www.hanroco.com). i'm trying to do the same for the images on this page (https://www.hanroco.com/art-direction) which are galleries rather than inline images. the best i can get is a border surrounding each entire gallery using .gallery-grid-wrapper {border: 2px solid #000}. any help would be very much appreciated!

Is there any way to add the border around the individual images as well?

Please post the URL for a page on your site where we can see your issue.

A link to the backend of the your site won’t work for us, i.e. a url that contains /config/.

Please set up a site-wide password, if your site is not public and you've not already done so.

Post the password here.

Adding a site-wide password does not allow anyone to alter your site. It only allows those with the password to see your site.

Please read the site-wide password and how to share a link documentation to understand how they work.

We can then take a look at your issue.

Hi everyone. This is an issue I have faced on two different sites and I really need help with it!

I have css borders on images/slideshows that are fine, except the borders don't actually fit the images! It is so frustrating. You can see in the attached image how it has a space at the bottom.

How can I get the border to tightly fit the images?

Yes, a border around that that fits the actual photo would be great. I had to remove it temporarily because the site is going live and it looked terrible when the border was off on one end (see my original photo posted above).

Use this new CSS

div#block-yui_3_17_2_1_1685462579659_80745 .slide {
    border: 10px solid green;
}
