Deleting sites from dashboard

Just started today using Squarespace, finding it difficult tbh, but I've created two different versions on my dashboard. want to delete both and start over. any help 

It they are still in a trial, then you just go into the settings page of the site /billing and account/ and hit delete. . 

I honestly can't see or find the delete option 

Hi, I'm trying to delete my account in order to have a 7.1 site. My 'billing' page won't load. The error code says to contact Square Space, but of course you can not actually contact anyone at SS. What to do?

I know it's so many years since this was posted by I have also just signed up and am going through the same thing. And when I go to settings, I do not get the options listed below.
