Custom Donation Checkout

hey people of Squarespace, 

I am wondering if there is a way to custom the donation box check-out screen? Currently there is first the email and only afterwards the contribution. However we believe that this might effect conversion rate. 

Is someone able to help? Perhaps with a custom code?

There's nothing you can do about the Squarespace checkout because it is not customisable. The checkout prompts for the email address first so that users on the Advanced Commerce plan can track abandoned transactions and attempt to recover these with follow-up emails.

You can however accept donations without using the checkout by adding the code for a direct payment form. These donations will not be tracked in Squarespace analytics and the donors will not be recorded in Squarespace Accounts, but it is possible. The method will depend on which payment provider you are using.
