Can someone PLEASE help me add a tagline on my site in the Blend template ? Codes Im finding aren't working ! Thank you

Folks don't put in what I show for text. That is just text from my test site.

I'm trying to clue the OP into the fact that a tag line field is built-into the SS interface. There should be no need to add via CSS or Javascript. Unless of course the built-in way doesn't meet the OP's needs.
