Blog page change text

Hi

I would like to change the text at the landing page of my blog. 
For some reason I cannot change it... Can someone help me? I've tried everything, so pretty desperate ;). 
On the screenshots I added, you can see the blog's landing page. The title is fine, but the text is just the one from the template and I cannot change it. When I double click, I can only choose to change the layout etc., but not the content.

Click the blog post in the panel on the left under the word Blog,  then click edit at the top left corner of the window that comes up , then put your cursor over the text you wan to change, give it a click, and you should see a flashing  vertical line, now you can add text, delete what is there, or backspace.
