Problem displaying apostrophe in navigation menu

Dear all,

I was in the proces of finishing a website build for a client, but encountered the following problem:

Apostrophes stopped being rendered in the navigation menu. Currently the menu only displays the HTML character reference for the apostrophe (&-#-3-9-;). 

Problem started after I experimented with the styling of the font in the navigation menu. Even after resetting the styling and switching to another font, the problem remains. 

It's one of the last, but crucial adjustments before delivering the full website, so thank you very much in advance for the help!

I have the same problem on a client site that looked fine yesterday. I this is a new bug; I haven't changed anything on the navigation in the interim. I'm talking with live chat.

Thank you for sharing your story, explains a lot. I will do the same in the hope Squarespace will fix this bug soon. Fingers crossed 🤞

My ticket is 6146905 , for what that's worth. They're looking into it. I think there are probably others in the same boat. Agreed, fingers crossed!

Just checked, issue seems to be fixed for me. Hopefully the bug is gone on all sites with the issue
