accordion Horizontal expandable/collapsed text (similar to accordion but collapse from left to right)?

Hi, there are a lot on accordion tab solutions on squarespace 7.1, I'm wondering, is there any solution for the expandable/collapsed text but open/close horizontally, it could be similar to accordion but collapse from left to right? thanks.

I'm wondering how to realize a click function that the text will collapse from the left to right?

yes, this is the example https://thepointsguy.com on the upper right corner when you click "US"

if your site is trial/private, you can setup password & share url. We can check easier

Actually, I was able to create a work around for this function. 

Would you possible be able to help me create subfolders for the 3 folders on my home page though, shown here:

You mean hover on each item from dropdown >> it will show another dropdown?

Not possible. You can consider using mega menu. Something like this
