How do you change color of italic text using CSS?

Hi! 

Does anyone know how to change the color of italic text? I saw from a previous question in this forum that the following will change the color of bold text, but am looking to change the color for italic text. 

b, strong {
   color: red;
   }

I see you used i & b tag, you can change to em & strong, then you can use this CSS

em {
	color: red !important;
}
