Accordion for product categories

Is there a way to add an accordion to a shop - so each category is expanded to view/ select the products within? 

I've found both FAQ expanding code and how to add accordions within the product page itself but I can't find a way to  create one for shop categories or include products within the code blocks as a workaround.

Does something like this exist?

You may need to use Universal Filter plugin, it works like a filter for your product collection

I'm also interested in this topic if anyone has some code they can throw on this!
