Ossie
Site URL: https://apricots-mayflower-laks.squarespace.com/config/ I am currently designing a site using Almar Squarespace 7.1. Currently when a customer clicks 'add to cart' they are directed to checkout bypassing the cart without giving an option to continue shopping. The only way they can access the cart is by clicking the icon in the header (they then have the option to continue shopping) Is there some code that can address this please? Thank you in advance Link to comment
Solution paul2009 Posted January 23, 2021 Solution Share Posted January 23, 2021 This can happen if you are adding subscriptions to the cart or if you’ve enabled Express Checkout. You cannot change the way subscription products are sold, but if you’ve accidentally enabled Express Checkout you can disable it by following these steps: In the Home Menu, click Commerce, and then click Checkout. Scroll down to Express Checkout and uncheck Enable Express Checkout. Ossie and LotNotes 2 About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Circle Leader since 2017. charissaholl
@paul2009 Do you know of anything that can be embedded to bypass the Express Checkout feature with Subscription Products on Squarespace? I really need to figure out a way to allow my customers to checkout multiple subscription products in one transaction on my website. Tia. Link to comment

This is how subscription products (and memberships) are managed on Squarespace. It cannot be coded differently. I’ve discussed this at length with the product team as it is confusing for customers and prevents purchase of subscriptions and standard products, but I doubt it will change in the near future. I recommend logging a feature request with Customer Care. About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Circle Leader since 2017. I value honesty, transparency, diversity and good design ♥.
