aubreywade
Site URL: https://collie-chameleon-jdn3.squarespace.com/%C2%A0 I've increased the text size of the captions overlaying on a gallery block on my homepage, which causes the lines to break when they get longer than a certain width. How can prevent this from happening? I would like the subtitle to stay as one long line under the title if possible. My site is https://collie-chameleon-jdn3.squarespace.com/ (password: aubreyswebsite) Any help greatly appreciated! Aubrey Link to comment
RyanDejaegher
Hey @aubreywade, you can try to force the text to stay on one line but as the screen size changes there's a good chance the text will need to run onto the next line to avoid being cut off by the screen. Something to keep in mind. Philadelphia, PA 👉 Squarespace Tutorials Chat/Message on FB Messenger for quickest response: https://m.me/dejaegherryan Link to comment
aubreywade
Hi @RyanDejaegher, this is true, and something I'm willing to live with. I'm finding that it's running over even on large screen sizes at the moment. I wonder if that's because the max width value is set to 50%? I'm still a newbie to code, so it's just a guess. But if so, maybe setting it to 80% say, would generally solve the issue I reckon. I've given it a go, but am stuck... Do you have any suggestions for a fix? Link to comment
