Change colour appearing on page load?

Hi 

On all pages of my site it flashes up a purple background as the page is loading. This purple is one of the colours in my colour palette but it's not the option I have selected for any sections on pages currently so I don't know why it's pulling it in.  It's almost like it's selected purple as the overall background colour of the site. Any idea how to change it to another colour?

I am experiencing this as well. I see a flash of red, which is in my palette, but not part of the selection I have made for each page. 

I have the same problem! Can't figure it out, did you solve it?

The site is private. You can setup password & share url. We can check easier

I solved it! Apparently, you can only change your default background color (for now) in the Squarespace app on your phone. It's a ridiculous workaround, but it works.
