sirius
These days many events are held online and therefore the physical location does not matter. The Google event meta data would provide the possibility to markup an event as a virtual event, as explained here: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/event#structured-data-type-definitions However in the Event Settings of an event, Squarespace does not allow to select the type of the event and it is therefore always a physical event ({"@type": "Place"}). Is there a way to manually inject or override these meta data settings? Link to comment
Heath
Hi! I don't have an answer for you, but I agree that there needs to be an option for an Event in Squarespace to be made as Virtual. I can always use the copy body for a registration link, but it would be good to follow the format of all events, but be able to use Virtual, as an option without it saying "map" and confusing things.
