Want to change page name in url

Recommended Posts

Site URL: http://phoenixheadshotpro.com/

Sorry- basic question I am sure, but cannot figure out how to change. I just got a domain name for one site, previous was using the squarespace name. when I enter domain name goes to site correctly- great! When I click on an individual page on the site, the url reads "http://familyphotoblogarizona.squarespace.com/arizona-headshot-cost-info" which is the old page name. Tried fixing in page settings (gear icon) and domains, logo & title etc etc etc. Where do I change this? Would prefer it to read "http://phoenixheadshotpro.com/cost" or "http://phoenixheadshotpro.com/guide" for example

Thanks to anyone willing to nicely school this noob! 🙂

Darn thats not it. I verified that it is the primary domain. Yet if I open the website on an incognito website the site title in the url is wrong: says http://familyphotoblogarizona.squarespace.com/ or  http://familyphotoblogarizona.squarespace.com/arizona-headshot-cost-info on different pages but should be: http://phoenixheadshotpro.com/

Now I can get to the site when I type in http://phoenixheadshotpro.com/ but it changes on different pages. Used to go into each pages settings/gear icon and change there but do not have that option now.

make sure those buttons do not have .squarespace as part of the url

Best practice is to not include any part of the domain name in links if they are on the same site. You'd therefore be better to use /arizona-headshot-cost-info instead of http://phoenixheadshotpro.com/arizona-headshot-cost-info. This prevents any issues later and will load pages faster if Ajax page loading is being used.
