How to Embed NPR radio spot on my website

Recommended Posts

Site URL: https://www.hammerheadaudio.com/

Hi, I'm currently updating my artist portfolio site, and I'd like to embed the NPR review for a performance I did on the page for the performance. I've previously used the embed block successfully with soundcloud, but it doesn't seem to work with NPR. Any idea how I can make this work?

Here is the page with the shoutout: https://www.npr.org/2020/12/05/943454072/austin-musicians-compose-musical-piece-played-inside-a-dumpster-to-commemorate-2

Here is what I get when I copy the embed information for the radio spot:

<iframe src="https://www.npr.org/player/embed/943454072/943454073" width="100%" height="290" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" title="NPR embedded audio player"></iframe>

Here is what happens when I try to embed the spot:

In your pics see the </> symbol? Click on that and then enter your code from NPR in the dialog that appears.

Click the Set button. Then click the Apply button from the previous dialog.

You should be set. I did it and it worked a treat for me. Entertaining story by the way! 🙂

Let us know how it goes.
