Adding a specific font

Hi I'm struggling to add a specific type of font on my blogpost. Without trying to utilize code I have tried the copy and paste method from google docs to my site, however my blog automatically changes it. I have already tried to review/edit the design of my site including its predesigned font but I can't get it to work.  How can I go about this?
