Can I use a tiled image as background?

Hi all,

I'm using 7.1 and I'd like to use a background image that has tiled art, and I was wondering instead of uploading a huge jpeg as the image, could I just upload a small tile and have it fill the background?

Ideally I could have the same tile size on all sections of the page.

Hey @3Dalchemy, this is possible but out of the box Squarespace doesn't support creating a repeating background (without custom CSS at least).

If you have a repeating background I can't imagine that the filesize would end up being that big. Plus Squarespace does some optimization to reduce the image size as well. 

I would just create your repeating background and load it as a background image using the Squarespace builder
