Lost page link when adding hover effect

Please take a look at my website above. I have just added a hover effect on the home page gallery however in doing so the hover has blocked the page link for this photo. Can anyone help please?

I also have a problem when viewing the hover on a mobile as the colour effect does not fully cover the photo horizontally, vertically it is fine?

Q1. Add this to Design > Custom CSS

/* Enable gallery click */
body.homepage figcaption.gallery-caption {
    pointer-events: none;
}

Thank you, works great. Here is the screenshot of what I am seeing on my mobile. You can see the overaly fall shorts on the right hand side.

Thanks. I'm using an Iphone 10 with safari's latest version

It is doing the same on Chrome too
