inserting custom font into different areas of my e-commerce site

hi there! i am attempting to use a custom font for multiple sections of my website- it’s working for all the header sections, but i can’t seem to insert it anywhere else. does anyone have the codes for other sections like paragraphs? h1, h2 etc worked but only for headers. p didn’t seem to do anything. trying to edit the site bar that has “shop” “faq’s” etc. thank you so much! very new to coding 

try p {font-family: monospace !important;} 

or p * {font-family: monospace !important;}

replace monospace with your font name
