Calendar Past events customisation

Hi, I wonder if it's possible at all to make the past events in the calendar block look faded? Like as in the past dates, maybe with some sort of filter? I think that as is at the moment, it's not as obvious that the past events are really in the past as the images and texts compete with the upcoming ones. In my opinion that line isn't enough to make it clear.
