cchandlerPandP Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 Site URL: https://www.plowsharesandprairie.com/online-store I'm setting up services in my online store: shares of produce that will be delivered from my farm. Variants are different locations and sizes. The location doesn't affect price, but the size does. I understand how to set up a product and variants for this, but I'm wondering if there is any flexibility in setting the stock for each variation. I'd actually rather set the stock for the product. For example, on Tuesdays, I deliver to 2 different types of shares to 4 different sites. The maximum number of shares I can deliver on Tuesdays is 43 (because that's the capacity of my van). I can set up stock limits for each of the variants, but those are actually arbitrary, as I don't really care whether I have a certain number of shares at one site vs. the other, or a certain number of large vs. small shares. I just need 43 total on Tuesdays. Does anyone know if there's a way to set the stock for the product as a whole, or another workaround? Thanks!

There isn't a feature within Squarespace that can do this. There's a third-party extension called Trunk that can balance stock levels but this is likely to be pricey for your limited needs (from $29pm).
