kwokworks 1 Share Posted December 31, 2020 Site URL: https://www.quirkilymade.com/ Hi there, Hope things are well! I'm going a bit of a limb here I guess but I wondered whether I could get some feedback on my website? For some context, I'm trying to start out as a freelance illustrator/creative and have had a hand at making a portfolio and would love to get some additional thoughts on user experience. Password: quirkilymade2020 The Contact and About page has an illustration I will add to the side of the first section (hence the gap on the right) but will add CSS to allow it to disappear once the screen reaches a width of 767px or lower. Thank you so much for your time and happy new year! Link to post
tuanphan 9,330 Share Posted January 2 (edited) I like typography. 1. I think on tablet, you can increase footer hours column. It is a bit narrow, with this CSS /* footer tablet */ @media screen and (max-width:991px) and (min-width:768px) { div#block-670a17ca9699eab7378a { padding-right: 0; } } 2. You haven't changed SEO Title, so browser tab name still shows "About 1" https://www.quirkilymade.com/about Also, on tablet, some columns are narrow. You can check. If you need code to increase width, we will send. 3. Similar on Contact Page "Contact 1" https://www.quirkilymade.com/contact Edited January 2 by tuanphan typo kwokworks 1 You can send your question to my email to get faster answer. kwokworks 1 Author Share Posted January 2 @tuanphan Hiya - thanks so much for the feedback 🙂 Also glad the typography looks good to you! 1. Oh that's a good point on the footer columns being on the narrow side. I've tried out the CSS you featured in the feedback - was that what that was for? 2. Thanks for spotting that - I think both About and Contact should be updated now in terms of SEO. 3. Thanks for letting me know! Were there any ones on a particular page that looked too narrow on your end? I'll have a check myself too, but let me know if there were any specific ones that really stood out in terms of width. Again, thanks so much for your advice! Link to post
