Tag Cloud for Events Page

Hello there,

New to this forum so pardon any rookie errors! I’m just building a site for a client and they need a tag cloud or similar for their events page which is growing (every event is tagged). I’ve built a rudimentary tag list, but currently it needs to be updated manually which is no longer fit for purpose. As they scale this process should happen automatically. 

How could a tag cloud on an events page be achieved with custom code? Seems simple on the surface as the functionality already exists on other pages, but you never know how easy it will actually turn out to be! If it is a more complex solution would anyone like to quote on doing it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
