Custom Footer CSS or Code Injection: Unifying Background Image in Content Sections with Footer to not break

076284ab-79b6-4dbc-b35c-2b18a7e3a57c.thumb.jpg.176e1e2a61b03f5e6fc7b7a51681cca6.jpgHere you can see the image was added in the footer section and meant to align but the tones are different and there remains a line break between the two.  Additionally, you can see on the mobile version the different positions remain very obvious with the images not linking seamlessly at all.  What I'd like ideally for the home page is just to have the one background image that bleeds into the footer section as it does in the header design.  I am working on a version 7.1 template.  Lastly, you can see that since the image was applied in the footer section as the background it therefore links to all of the pages and this is not what I am looking to do.
