Is the home page enable button always greyed out when you go into the specific page setting?

So when I click on my HOME page in the home pages panel, I see that the "enable" button is greyed out.  I had been editing it and adding a "social image" when it may have changed.  My sister has a website and her homepage "enable" button is not greyed out.  I feel like I had to fix something like this before and the fix was to set a different homepage and then change it back.  I have done this but it still remains greyed out.  It is NOT greyed out on the left panel list.    It is just greyed  when i click on it in that box.  Is it supposed to be greyed out? Is it working incorrectly?

It is disable because it was set as homepage, try to choose another as home page and check it again

if i select a different page as the home page it too goes grey and then this one becomes black.

it means homepage can not be disabled, you got to choose another page as homepage before you disable the page in question

Okay!  I don't want to disable it! I just didn't know if that meant something was wrong.  I want that as the homepage.  SO this is how it should look?
