Adding a SVG logo to Corrigan theme, is it possible?

Trying to add an SVG logo to my site.  I have tried the method usinf the transparent png with the link to the SVG file but no luck...

This is the tutorial I followed but its not working...

That worked only now the logo is centre instead of left align?

I think you can use site sytes to change that. If not there is code to move logo to left but its for a standard image file, not sure what it would do with an svg.

added this code and it worked!
