How to make category navigation for a store in Brine

I'm looking to somehow add a navigation or list of categories for my products on a product page.  In other templates I've used, the category navigation is automatically created, but I can't find anything about how to add it in manually.  My products have different categories like "food" "cocktails" "red wine" etc. and its just a wall of products that need to be organized.

You should be able to add in an archive block, once you have done this select your shop as the source, and then in the other tab select the categories as the listing.
