Photos not loading on site and site is very slow

Hi there, 

I'm looking for a bit of help or guidance. I would like to optimize and increase the speed of my site but I am a bit lost. Some photos are not loading and when I did a GTMetrix test is performed quite poorly.

I'm not sure where to start.

The site loads fine. So much depends on provider, time of day and lots of other things. It has been my experience after many, many, years and having websites with many hosting companies, that Squarespace performance wise is one of the better compainies to be with.
