mc-montgomery Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 Site URL: https://www.mc-montgomery.com/paintings Hello, I was wondering if it were possible at all to have a slideshow within a stack gallery page. I want to display several artworks from the same series in a slideshow, so they won't takeover the entire page. Here is how it looks without the slideshow- https://www.mc-montgomery.com/paintings The closest I could get to the slideshow being integrated with the other images was this- https://maryswebsite.squarespace.com/paintings-test It looks ok, it's paired with a summary wall instead of a stack. I just don't like the black background when you click on the images in the summary though. I much prefer the look of stack in that regard. The stack as a block doesn't allow you to change the size of the spacing between the images- it looks to narrow and the slideshow doesn't fit in. Do I have to hire someone to write code to allow for this? Is it even possible. Any help or advice would be great.

Wulfrick Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 Would like to know myself. I've been scouring the internet for an answer as I'm fairly sure this was in 7.0! I have products in a portfolio style website (ie I'm not selling from the website) and would like each "stack" image to be an automated slideshow showing different varieties of the same product (color, size, etc) or different angles of the same product. And the only slide show I can find is a full bleed gallery page section.
derricksrandomviews Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 I am not totally fimiliar with Wells and using a gallery summary block, but can't you change the lightbox for those images to a light overlay instead of dark? Have you considered using a layout page with gallery blocks. as opposed to a gallery/collection page? You can stack gallery blocks and make them slideshows, grids, walls, stacks what ever you want, and any image not in a slidshow can be set for lightbox with light overlay.
